Amenities and facilities

Social Social activities are arranged regularly and include quizzes, musical evenings, garden fetes, bring and buy sales. Any money raised from these events is spent on social activities for residents.

Daily newspapers can be delivered and there is a stock of large print books which is changed regularly by the County Library Service. Each lounge has a television, a radio and tape player. One lounge has a C.D. player and another has a video. Hairdressing can be arranged locally, or you can choose to use a hairdresser who visits Beechwood.

There is a local country bus service which stops outside Beechwood for visitors or residents travelling to Upton, Tewkesbury or Worcester.

Every effort will be made for you to follow your religious or cultural beliefs. Church of England Communion services are held monthly in the home, and other members of the clergy visit.

There are churches of all denominations in Upton and we will help you make arrangements to attend a local church if you choose.
