Our care principles

Our home is for living in. People who live at Breme can expect to be treated as individuals. We recognise that each person will have their own needs and wishes, likes and dislikes and we will make every effort to meet these.

We will discuss your health care needs with you before you use any of our services. If you and your existing doctor agree to continue your medical care, we will help this to happen. If this is not possible, we can help you to transfer to a local doctor.

We encourage and welcome you to have a say in everything that affects your daily life and we will take your comments seriously. You will have as much choice as possible and you can be as independent as you wish. We will respect your privacy and dignity. We want you to feel secure, comfortable, looked after and have the companionship of other people who live and work in the home.
