Your room

Your room is your space and we will respect your privacy and dignity. You will be provided with your own door key and staff will always knock and wait to be invited in before entering. There is a call bell in every room in the home, giving a direct line to staff day or night.

All 60 single bedrooms are en-suite and centrally heated. They are decorated, furnished and lit to a high standard. The en-suite shower room, which can be locked, comprises a wash hand basin, a toilet with grab rails and a walk-in shower with grab rails and a seat.

If you choose to make Hastings your permanent home, you may prefer to make your room more homely by bringing items of furniture and personal possessions with you - although we will need to make sure that these meet the necessary fire and safety requirements. You can entertain relatives and friends in your own room if you wish.
